Television can be a wonderful learning tool.

電視能成為很好的學(xué)習(xí)工具。

Thirty-odd years ago, "Sesame Street" ,"The ElectricCompany" and "Mr. Rogers'Neighbourhood"helpedmy sons learn to read, count,socialize and cope withfeelings.

30多年前，電視節(jié)目“芝麻街”，“電子公司”和“羅杰斯顯示的街坊四鄰”幫助我的兒子們學(xué)會了認(rèn)字，數(shù)數(shù)，交往，表達(dá)情感。

Nature programs on public television taught them an enormous respect for the world at largeand the creatures within it.

Not until the boys were old enough tounderstand how commercials tried to promote consumption were they allowed to watchsports programs on commercial television.

Unfortunately, our experience with television is rarely duplicated these days.
